Daily Mantra: "I was such a great mom before I had children". -Heather Souweine
Do you remember when you didn't have kids...maybe even right before you gave birth when you saw a child in the store throwing the temper tantrum to end all temper tantrums? You thought..."Wow...that will NEVER be my child?" Or, perhaps you thought of the blissful days you and your loving babe would spend connecting quietly together, in your perfectly tidy home, and you just had a fresh shower (because why wouldn't you). Yes...then the child was born, and then it was all over for you and your silly thoughts.
Heather and I call eachother...I don't know...3/4 times a day. Even if just to say:
"I really think that red peppers are a ridiculous vegetable?"
"Me too...they are too red."
"Ok...that's it."
"Bye"
Today we were chatting it up, and both of us had kids misbehaving in the background.
"I was such a great Mom before I had kids." Heather said, almost under her breath...maybe not even saying it to me, but to herself.
I broke out into hysterical laughter of the uncontrollable kind, where you almost pee yourself (because, oh yea, that is ANOTHER joy of giving birth to children).
Too true. I was fabulous.
